Surviving and Thriving

The third EIC Survive and Thrive Insight Report is out! This report summarises key findings for industry and for the government, with case studies of 25 ‘success story’ companies. These ‘success stories’ present valuable insights on an individual company basis but also provide a ‘best practice’ guide for how companies in any sector can survive and thrive in challenging markets against a backdrop of a cautious oil and gas market recovery with tight margins, fierce competition and Brexit uncertainty.

This third edition of the report features Hughes and our innovation and collaboration with Celantel to develop the Hughes Zero Power Cooler. The latest addition to the Hughes range is designed and developed to temper water stored inside emergency tank showers in hot ambient climates, as stipulated by ANSI Z358.1-2014 and EN15154 standards, without the need for power! The night time ambient temperature is used to maintain the daytime temperature of the water, ensuring the delivery of safe and tepid water. No maintenance or electricity required.
